A leading Australian university engaged our team to conduct an independent risk and safety assessment following a National Student Ombudsman own-motion review into violence and safety practices on campus. In anticipation of the National Code on Gender-Based Violence coming into effect in 2026, the University required an expert opinion to meet its obligations under the Code and to ensure student and staff safety.
Our qualified threat assessment practitioners and psychologists applied evidence-based tools to review campus incidents, identify systemic risk factors, and assess the adequacy of current response mechanisms. Within weeks, we delivered a comprehensive report that informed the University’s immediate safety actions and longer-term prevention strategy. The findings supported compliance with the National Code, strengthened governance and reporting processes, and guided continual improvement initiatives across student wellbeing and staff training.
